Lovi
The Finnish word “lovi” means a groove or notch – but to “fall into a lovi” evokes falling into ecstasy, or becoming deeply infatuated with something.
In the Lovi chair, the user falls into its softly shaped, receptive interior – a gentle contrast to the geometric, prismatic exterior. A frame of slender steel rods supports the solid wood seat like a delicate bowl, giving the chair a sense of lightness and suspension.
The result is a striking visual tension between mass and air, structure and softness.
Available in solid wood or upholstered version.
