Midi Chairs to Porvoo Art Factory

Mobel has delivered 40 Midi A3 chairs to Porvoo Art Factory in Finland.

The Art Factory, a cultural and congress center built in 2012, features two spacious halls perfect for seminars, fairs, and corporate events, along with four auditoriums and five smaller meeting rooms ideal for breakouts. Its old brick walls and stunning artwork create a unique atmosphere. Designed by Hannu Kiiskilä and Arrak Architects, the venue is a blend of history and modernity. In 2012, Mobel supplied 560 Midi A3 chairs, designed by Jouko Järvisalo, to complement the space.

The Midi chairs are located in The Avanti Hall which is the biggest venue at the Art Factory. The brick walls, concrete floor and the original pillars remind us of the history and original use of the hall. It was originally used as a factory hall for building tractors.

The Art Factory is owned by three big foundations: The Finnish Culture Foundation, Alfred Kordelin Foundation and Emil Aaltonen Foundation.
