Vako

Vako is an ascetic archetype of a wooden chair, embodying the austere simplicity of the Finnish peasant chair. Every structural component of the chair is meticulously designed to maximize material efficiency and industrial production.

The Vako chair features traditional, robust finger joints. The entire front and back of the seat are embedded into the frame, enhancing the chair's durability. Made from solid birch wood, the material is ecological, durable, and sturdy. The minimal inclinations of the seat and backrest make the Vako chair ergonomically comfortable.

Nipo and Pumu are part of the Vako product family, but their differently designed backrests make them suitable for various purposes.
